The UBCF is a highly regarded nonprofit organization thats fully registered. The story of the organization started in October 2000 as a small grassroots organization serving low-income and under-insured residents of the state of New York. The organization was largely inspired by the case of Audrey B. Mastroianni who died because of breast cancer at the age of 42. Her story and hundreds of others led to the establishment of a nonprofit thats committed to helping those who are fighting breast cancer, especially the less privileged. Today, UBCF is run by Ms. Stephanie Mastroianni who is passionate about the cause. As the daughter of Audrey B. Mastroianni, Stephanie has personal experience with breast cancer and its effect on individuals and their families. And this personal experience helped shape the organization into what it is today an organization that serves men, women, and their families across the United States through 7 life-supporting patient and family programs.

UBCF has created a scholarship for college-bound students of single parent homes. The scholarship is specifically designed to help turn higher education dreams into reality for students who have suffered the loss of a parent or guardian due to breast cancer. The Audrey B. Mastroianni College Scholarship was established in honor of Audrey B. Mastroianni, a firm believer in education and continued personal enrichment.

With the Ladder Company 5 firetruck destroyed, Monahans Silverado became their firetruck in the days that followed. To receive a tax deduction for a donated vehicle, you must include any charitable contributions itemized on Schedule A of Form 1040 from the IRS. Include your Charity Auto Donation tax-deductible receipt with your tax return. You do not need to submit Form 1098-C if your vehicle sells for less than $500 as your official Charity Auto Donation receipt is considered sufficient documentation by the IRS. If your vehicle sells for more than $500 but less than $5,000 you will need to submit the provided 1098-C form along with form 8283.
